The IDEAS Framework™ – Create at the Speed of Your Voice

The IDEAS Framework™ Voice-First Edition by Ken Cox — International Bestselling Author, Entrepreneur, AI & Creativity Innovator, Boxer & Coach, Comedian, Father, Thought Leader

Talking can be up to 7× faster than keyboard typing – and up to 15× faster than thumb-typing. Your voice is the most underused piece of creative hardware you own.

And if speed is your advantage, voice is your weapon.

— Ken Cox

The Voice Advantage

These are real-world, high-performance speeds — not lab averages.

Input Method Words Per Minute Relative Speed
🗣️ Voice (Speaking) ~150 WPM Baseline
⌨️ Keyboard Typing ~35 WPM 4.3× slower
📱 Thumb Typing ~10-15 WPM 10-15× slower
🚀 Voice + AI Realtime Loop ~245 WPM Up to 7× faster than typing

Talking can be up to 7× faster than keyboard typing — and up to 15× faster than thumb-typing. That's not a fun fact — that's a competitive advantage.

Why would you build your future at 35 words per minute when you can move at 150+? If you're still typing your ideas into AI, you're voluntarily slowing down your own genius.

Core Belief: Voice-First Creativity

We're entering a voice-first world. Typing, mousing, and thumb-texting are legacy inputs — they were designed for office work, not for high-bandwidth human creativity.

Thought is the creation. Voice is just the fast lane that gets it out before you can talk yourself out of it.

Typing is a bottleneck between your brain and your results — a leftover constraint from the pre-AI world.

If you're still typing to your AI, you're already behind. Voice is the interface — the keyboard is now the fallback, not the default.

I

Intent — Know Your Destination

Say it out loud. Record your goal clearly. This sets the direction for everything that follows. Be specific about what success looks like — not just "more content," but "this type of content, for these people, with this effect." Your intent becomes the North Star the AI orients around.

Intent is the North Star. The dump comes after you know what you're aiming at.

"Here's what I'm trying to accomplish today: I want to create a [type of thing] that helps [this audience] do/feel/understand [this outcome]. When we're done, I should be able to [specific result]."

D

Dump — Empty Your Mind

Talk freely for 1 to 60 minutes — ramble, don't edit. Pace, stretch, stare out the window, swear, loop back, change your mind mid-sentence. This is not about sounding smart; it's about getting everything out of your head. The uncomfortable part is usually where the real breakthroughs live.

This is about flow, not performance.

Thought is the creation, voice is the transport. Grammar, structure, and "does this make sense?" come later — if you're judging it, you're not dumping.

"Here's everything swirling in my head right now — the fears, the half-baked ideas, the rants, the patterns I think I see, the stuff I'm embarrassed to say out loud. I'm putting it all on the table."

E

Elaborate — Let AI Organize Your Chaos

Upload the transcript and ask AI to find patterns, themes, contradictions, and actionable insights. The AI becomes your thought partner — not just organizing what you said, but surfacing connections you didn't know you were making. This is where raw chaos turns into the first clear shape of something real.

PRO TIP 1: Tell the AI "Remember, today we're talking about the main goal, so let's hone in on that. But before we do, give me a list of great ideas I can use this dialogue for, so I can save them for other times when I'm not as creative."
PRO TIP 2: Use another GPT or AI model to stress-test the output. Ask it to debunk claims, poke holes in the logic, and flag anything that needs sources or clarification. Let the second AI be the skeptic that keeps the first draft honest.
A

Adjust — Refine Through Natural Conversation

Have a back-and-forth dialogue. Ask questions, challenge assumptions, request different perspectives, and push it past the obvious answers. This is where the magic happens — your ideas evolve through conversation. Don't accept the first draft; keep going until it feels true, useful, and alive.

PRO TIP: Once you think you're done, ask: "What am I not seeing yet? What's missing, risky, or lazy about this?" Then ask: "Is there anything else we can add to better accomplish the goal?" That last question often unlocks the extra 10% that makes the work stand out.

Example refinements:

  • "Can you make this more actionable?"
  • "What if we approached it from a different angle?"
  • "Add more emotion to section 3"
  • "Check this for blind spots"
  • "Make it sound more like me"
S

Syndicate — Distribute Your Content

Turn AI output into assets: posts, emails, scripts, pages, offers, systems. Then actually use them. Publish, send, implement — don't let it die in your downloads folder. Store both the final output and your voice journey so future versions of your AI can learn how you think, not just what you said once.

Repurpose and distribute the final result across channels — one recording can become an email, a thread, a video, a chapter, and a talk.

Your voice journey becomes your private IP library — searchable, reusable, and fuel for every future version of your digital self.

Distribution channels:

  • 📱 "Turn this into a LinkedIn post and a short video script"
  • 📧 "Turn this into an email sequence for my list"
  • 🎓 "Save this as a lesson inside my course or program"
  • 🤖 "Add this to the training data for my AI voice and writing style"

Voice-First Practices

Master these five essential practices to unlock your voice-first potential

1
Always record. Every spark, every rant, every half-formed thought. Capture it. Your voice becomes the raw material your future AI will learn from.
2
Transcribe & upload. Use your phone recorder, voice typing, or any tool that gets speech into text. It might feel clunky now — but the habit is what matters.
3
Store voice + text together. Keep the audio and transcript side by side in the same place. That pairing is what will eventually train your voice models and writing assistants.
4
Create projects for everything. Marketing, coaching, comedy, offers, operations — each becomes its own intelligent workspace where your AI knows the context.
5
Talk naturally. Forget perfect grammar. "Hey, summarize this." "Explain that again." "Make it sound like me." Giving clear, casual instructions to AI is the new literacy.

Quick Prompts to Try

Start with these battle-tested prompts to accelerate your results

Get organized

"Here's my messy list. Turn it into a clear, prioritized plan with next steps."

Generate ideas

"Based on this, give me 10 bold content ideas that would actually get my audience's attention."

Build clarity

"Ask me 5 uncomfortable questions to clarify what I really want and what I'm afraid of."

Refine writing

"Make this sound more human, confident, and direct — like I'm talking to one person I care about."

Verify output

"Explain how you arrived at this answer, then critique your own response and point out anything that might be wrong or weak."

Ken Cox's Voice-First Truths

Nietzsche Brain, Kierkegaard Pen, AI Assistant

The creative philosophy behind the IDEAS workflow. Think like Nietzsche, write with the weight of Kierkegaard, and let AI carry the structural load.

🧠

Nietzsche Brain

Nietzsche brain is non-linear, free, and unfiltered thought. It's the part of you that jumps from idea to idea, questions everything, and doesn't ask for permission. This is the mental mode of the Dump phase: chaos as creative fuel, with zero concern for being tidy or polite.

✒️

Kierkegaard Pen

Kierkegaard pen is writing with intention, meaning, and weight. It's where ideas get grounded in truth, responsibility, and real impact. This is what we're aiming for in the Elaborate and Adjust phases — turning raw chaos into words that actually matter to real humans.

🤖

AI Assistant

The AI assistant is the bridge between your wild brain and your finished work. It's the structure partner and pattern finder, the thing that turns rambling voice notes into outlines, scripts, emails, and assets. You bring the consciousness and soul; AI carries the load of organizing, formatting, and sharpening.

Linear vs Nonlinear Thinking

Linear Thinkers

Linear thinkers like clear steps, defined paths, and predictable outcomes. They move from Point A to Point B in order, and they're great at execution but often over-edit themselves before the good ideas fully form. Typing-only workflows tend to lock them into safe, shallow thinking.

  • Point A to Point B sequential processing
  • Step-by-step methodology
  • Structured approach to problems
  • Clear beginning, middle, end

Nonlinear Thinkers

Nonlinear thinkers move like lightning in all directions — A to F to Z to K and back to B. They see patterns, metaphors, and connections other people miss, but their brilliance can stay trapped in their head or lost in scattered notes. They don't need more ideas; they need a system to capture and shape them.

  • Web-like connection of ideas
  • Intuitive leaps and associations
  • Multiple threads at once
  • Pattern recognition over sequence

IDEAS + AI: The Bridge

For linear thinkers: We teach you how to dump and think more nonlinearly, embracing the creative chaos that leads to breakthrough insights — without losing the ability to execute.

🔮 The Future Is Voice

Today it's awkward. Tomorrow it's everything.

Intent → Dump → Elaborate → Adjust → Syndicate.

Every conversation with AI is training your next generation of digital intelligence — your digital self, the only assistant in history that can learn you this deeply and never forget.

Choose the AI systems you trust. I'm here to teach you how to create — not to police your tools.

Not hippy, just open minded.
